Our internal Key Opinion Leaders are our Head of Clinical, Dr Priya Gaind and experienced dental surgeon Dr Alison Burnett.
Dr Priya Gaind
Dr Priya Gaind is a dentist with many years of experience in both General practice and hospital, working for both the NHS and privately. Her research and audits have implanted National Clinical changes and her most recent publications include a textbook on the Post-operative Complications of Trauma as well as reporting for medico-legal cases.
Early on in her career, she was exposed to Facial Aesthetics. Whilst working in hospitals, she found it upsetting to see so many patients with a poor quality of life, just from grinding their teeth. Over time it became more apparent to her that as healthcare professionals we can make a huge impact on a person’s quality of life and not just that but also the ability to make people feel good. By solving this problem she not only enjoys creating beautiful smiles but is also well experienced in muscle relaxing treatments and dermal fillers.
Dr Alison Burnett (BDS)
Dr Alison Burnett (BDS) is an experienced dental surgeon and owner of a private dental practice since 2004, which incorporates her aesthetic clinic and training academy – Face@29 in Northern Ireland.
Dr Alison has been carrying out facial aesthetics for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience and knowledge in her field. She has provided aesthetic training all over the UK and Ireland.
She is highly respected in the aesthetic community, has been involved with expert aesthetic meetings and has been a trainer/course leader with a prestigious training academy in London.
Dr Alison is currently the KOL for Ireland and clinical lead trainer for Medfx carrying out all aspects of hands on training to medical professionals, offering post training advisory support when required.
Dr Mark Holmes
Dr Mark Holmes has been a full time Aesthetic Physician for 10 years.
Mark splits his time between clinics, teaching, research and publishing. He presents at conferences internationally, including Monaco and IMCAS.
Mark prefers an holistic approach to total face and neck rejuvenation using dermal fillers, toxins, CO2 laser and PDO cog threads.
Dr Rita Nandi
Dr Rita Nandi is the founder and medical director of The Bloom Clinic in Canary Wharf. She also works as a senior injector for DestinationSkin at three of their clinics. She has recently taken a position of clinical trainer for Derma Medical, the UK's number one aesthetic training academy for medical professionals. After obtaining her medical degree from University of Leeds and Physiology BSc from King's College London, she has had 15 years’ experience working as a doctor in the NHS including spending a few years working in A&E before training to be a GP, which she still does part-time.
She started working in aesthetics in January 2020 after starting the combined level 7 diploma in injectables and cosmetic dermatology at Harley Academy. She has undertaken numerous training courses alongside her level 7 diploma and offers a wide range of injectable and cosmetic dermatology treatments for her patients in clinic. She was proud to be invited to present at Aesthetic Medicine Live London in May this year.
Dr Pamela Benito
Dr Pamela Benito has over ten years of experience as a Facial Aesthetics Specialist and has a very strong academic background, which has given her a strong skill set that should enable her to meet all expectations.
Dr Benito is passionate about aesthetics and her attention to detail makes her skilled at facial assessments and treatment protocols. As a caring practitioner, she has earned the trust and respect of her patients. The aim is to achieve beautiful, natural results and offers the advantages of a combined treatment approach.
As a faculty member and regional expert trainer for the Teoxane Group, Dr Benito also trains other medical practitioners about advanced injectables.
Dr Benito is regularly featured in national newspapers and magazines for her expertise in skincare and aesthetic treatments, and she has been cited in Tatler’s Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide 2022 as best for Thread Lift treatment.
Dr Donna Mills
Dr Donna Mills, started her career in general practice, but soon realised the difference cosmetic orthodontic procedures can make to people’s lives. A straighter, brighter smile is about more than looking great in a wedding photograph. It can be truly life-changing, an everyday confidence boost that helps you be truly you.
This interest led to ongoing training in advanced facial aesthetic procedures, including non-surgical ‘thread’ face lifts, anti-wrinkle injections and fillers. She began her journey in 2008, and has become a celebrated, industry-renowned clinician. Donna is now a key opinion leader for Galderma.
Dr Ijeoma Ukachukwu
Dr Ijeoma Ukachukwu is the CEO of Skin-Quest Clinic which she founded in 2004. SQC is a Skin & Cosmetic clinic offering a wide range of solutions for Skin and Aesthetic concerns. Dr Ukachukwu graduated with merit from St Mary's Hospital , London in 1994.
She began exploring her passion for all things skin from a young age and developed this to become a GP with special interest in Dermatology. She ran Special interest clinics for a number of London boroughs over a 16 year period.
Skin-Quest Clinic offers a genuinely bespoke approach to skin and cosmetic problems aiming to help clients ' bring the best out of the skin they are in'.
Dr Lucy Glancey
Dr Lucy Glancey is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and The British College of Aesthetic Medicine. She served 2 terms as a president of the British Association of Body Sculpting (BABS) and currently she is a joint president of BABS.
One of her other main interests are non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
Dr Glancey is a regular contributor at medical conferences around the world and is often invited to be a speaker. She also appears regularly in the press and has been in TV programs such as 10 years younger.
Before entering the speciality of cosmetic surgery Dr Glancey worked in the NHS in trauma and orthopaedics. She was part of a research team based at the University of Warwick exploring genetic engineering methods for the treatment of superbug infections and holds a joint paten on the above.
Dr Sepi Shahidi
Dr Sepi is an experienced aesthetic practitioner with a specialist interest in skin rejuvenation and scar treatment. After graduating from King’s College London School of Dentistry, Dr. Sepi underwent advanced cosmetic training including a prestigious facial aesthetics Fellowship on Harley Street.
Dr Sepi is an expert in aesthetic injectables with anti-wrinkle benefits, dermal filler treatments, skin tightening, laser skin resurfacing and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) skin rejuvenation. She has a research interest in safety and quality in aesthetics, with numerous publications and presentations in this field.
Dr Leyla Packham
Leyla Packham qualified as a dentist in 1987 from St Martins University in Colombia.
She also achieved a postgraduate qualification in Maxillary Orthopaedics in 1992. For 14 years she worked as a principal of her own dental practice in Bogota.
She came to London in 2001 and qualified as a Dental Surgeon with the GDC. Leyla worked as an associate in various practices in London before setting up Sonria Dental Clinic in 2007, where a full range of dental services are offered. Leyla has a special interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, as well as Medical Aesthetics.
Annette Matthews
Annette is a patient-focused dental professional with a keen interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, skin ageing, facial aesthetics, digital media and business development.
Commencing further this year into skin ageing and facial aesthetics at a master’s level Annette is keen to increase awareness and indeed access to multifactorial healthcare professionals for patients.
Annette is leading the way for dental therapists and facial aesthetics and has been invited to speak in several European forums on behalf of various skin products relating to her fantastic results from her clinic nestled in the Derbyshire dales, W Skin.
Dr Helen Whyte & Rachel Davison RDH RDT
Dr Helen and Rachel are a Dentist and Dental Therapist with over 30 years of combined experience in dentistry and, more recently, a special interest in all aspects of Facial Aesthetics. They both trained at the award-winning Botulinum Toxin Club and SkinViva Training Academy and provide a variety of treatments at their clinic in Newcastle Upon Tyne, including SuneKOS and BioRePeel.
